nova Milne is a two-person artist formed by an intimately negotiated language spanning the years since meeting as teenagers.
With a distinct approach to re-choreographing time and movement in their video-sculptures, their work also includes performance, movement notation, drawings, and restorative acts.
Their process often begins with a feeling that something found; an obscure recording, a piece of biographical ephemera, or some micro-historical minutia, is emitting an urgent plasticity.
When they assemble a gesture, or encounter, it usually transgresses a breach of time.
